Create a promotional tie-in with the James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, and drive deep engagement with the Sony brand.

Solution

We recruited ordinary people as spies. Their three-week mission: to use Sony products to save MI6 agent Constance Newlove, crack a code, and open a safe full of mystery prizes. Players scanned QR (Quick Response) codes on posters to receive video mission briefings on their mobile phones. Their missions took place online, on mobiles, and in the real world. To complete these tasks, our recruits collaborated (and competed) using social networking platforms such as blogs, forums and Facebook.
