Euro RSCG BETC win Grand Prix for Canal+ Campaign

Euro RSCG BETC have won the Web Banners Grand Prix Award for their recent Canal+ work. The online campaign reveals itself to the user when masked cops suddenly break out of your computer screen, destroying the Internet web banner in front of you.

This scenario played out on YouTube, MSN, and Allociné. These cops were somehow erupting onto computer users' home pages and holding up people in neighboring online videos. This 'transparent Flash' campaign was launched by Canal+ on the eve of the premiere of its new police series, 'Braquo'.

The results: 5.7 million 'contacts' on YouTube with over 100,000 click-throughs (Ten times more than average for a Canal+ online campaign.). And a record number of viewers of the Canal+ cable channel, with 1,350,000 viewers of Braquo's first episode (representing 20.9% of market share of cable subscribers).
