Ricardo Monteiro Named Advertising Person of Decade

Ricardo Monteiro, CEO of Euro RSCG Latin America, Portugal and Brazil, was recently named Advertising Person of the Decade by prestigious Portuguese trade publication Meios & Publicidade. Meios & Publicidade, the leading advertising publication in Portugal, had named Monteiro Advertising Person of the Year in both 2006 and 2007, helping to make him a favorite in the person of the decade competition.

The award was shared with Francisco Pinto Balsemao, former Prime Minister of Portugal and owner of Expresso, one of Portugal's leading newspapers. Monteiro, who has over 15 years of experience in the advertising industry, has helped make Euro RSCG Lisbon Portugal's #1 ranked agency for each of the past 8 years, while simultaneously doing an outstanding job leading Euro RSCG in Latin America, turning it into one of the top networks in the region.
